Gowns galore!
The collector: Jean Shafiroff, 52, a philanthropist who lives on the Upper East Side
The closet: An approximately square-foot room in Shafiroff’s Park Avenue apartment is stuffed with 50 evening gowns, many by designer Oscar de la Renta. An adjacent walk-in closet serves as a dressing area.
The collection: Shafiroff began gathering gowns 20 years ago from a range of designers including Oscar de la Renta, Mary McFadden, Zang Toi and Victor de Souza. “I started collecting because I needed to wear them,’’ explains Shafiroff, who serves on eight charity boards and attends galas weekly. “They chronicle the charity world in New York for a certain period.”
The gowns range from a $ vintage s number to a $ pink ruffled Marchesa for to a $10, black-and-purple silk Oscar de La Renta that she says she bought “in a moment of weakness.”

Banker–turned–singer, reality TV celebrity, and social activist Ivan Wilzig has led a life that Hollywood movies are made of, all of which ultimately ties back to his passion for seeing the world live in peace and harmony.
IN THE BEGINNING
Born in Clifton, New Jersey (January 6, ), Ivan grew up with two siblings and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in European Intellectual History from the University of Pennsylvania and then later; he went on to earn a law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Rather than practicing law, however, Ivan joined his father Siggi in running The Trust Company of New Jersey.
After more than twenty years working for his family's multi-billion dollar commercial banking business, where he also sat on the Board of Directors, Ivan left the banking world behind to reinvent himself as recording artist "Sir Ivan." His love for music and his passion for peace and equality translated into a unique sound that ultimately led to becoming a Top 10 Billboard-charting artist.

Sunday morning, there will be some epic hangovers in the Hamptons. On Saturday night, Ivan L. Wilzig — better known as Sir Ivan — will hold his annual costume bash at his huge Water Mill, LI, castle complete with its own dungeon.
Sir Ivan, 58, a musician known for his remixes of ’60s free-love songs, has been hosting the parties for more than 15 years. They are notoriously over the top and scandalous, and orgies are widely rumored. Here, he shares some favorite party memories:

Meet Ivan Wilzig, the son of a Holocaust survivor who abandoned a career in banking to become a musician who performs, in full regalia, under the stage names "Peaceman" and "Sir Ivan."
Wilzig isn't only known for his antics on the stage. He's the owner of Wilzig Castle, an estate in Water Mill near Southampton that's legendary for throwing some of the wildest summer parties out there.
