Në Mitrovicë, cdo gjë që ka ka të bëj me muzikën, lidhet pashmangshëm me emrin e Fahri Beqirit. Këtë të gjithë mitrovicasit e dinë. Në gjashtëdhetëvjetëshin e fundit ai është sinonim i muzikës në këtë qytet, edhepse, për çudi, pjesën më të madhe të jetës krijuese e ka zhvilluar në mjedise të tjera. Gjithnjë më duket se këtë oreol ai e mban më tepër falë mitrovicasëve sesa që ai vet ai ka menduar për një gjë të till.
Në fillim të viteve ’ta Fahri Beqiri ishte i punësuar për një kohë të shkurtër në Shkollën e muzikës të Mitrovicës. Si njeri dinamik që ishte, një animator i palodhshëm i muzikës, gjithmonë në lëvizje dhe me ide të reja, në fillim të çdo viti shkollor bënte një lloj fushate propaganduese, që fëmijët e talentuar të qytetit të vijojnë mësimin në muzikë. Zakonisht, për këtë qëllim gjente një mënyrë të thjeshtë, paraprakisht kontakonte miqët e tij, shokët apo fqinjët e vet etj. Në shtatorin e vitit , kishte arritur të mbledh një numër enorm të fëmijëve për të testuar muzikalitetin e tyre. Njëri prej këyre kalamajve isha pikërisht unë.

Kreshnik Aliçkaj është një kompozitor dhe profesor i njohur, i cili u lind në Pejë, Kosovë, dhe kreu shkollimin e tij në Prishtinë. Pas përfundimit të studimeve për kompozim dhe masterit në Universitetin e Prishtinës nën udhëheqjen e profesorit Mendi Mengjiqi, ai tani punon si profesor në Fakultetin e Arteve në Universitetin e Prishtinës "Hasan Prishtina". Aliçkaj ka një portofol të pasur të veprave, duke përfshirë katër simfonitë, gjashtë koncerte, një simfoniette, dhe një kantatë e titulluar "Mother Teresa", si dhe disa vepra kamertale. Ai ka fituar shumë çmime në nivel vendi dhe disa ndërkombëtare. Veprat e tij janë interpretuar në shumë vende, duke përfshirë Vatikanin, Izmirin, Gjermaninë, Slloveninë, Kroacinë, Tajlandën, dhe të tjera.
